The Friend of Agriculture Award went to Tom Storey of Storey Samways Planning:
“I’ve been involved in agriculture and land use planning for decades and this is sort of a nice culmination for all the work we’ve done over the years,” says Storey.
Agriculture Innovator of the Year went to Tim Schinkel and Dave Baute is the Agriculturist of the Year. Baute says the secret to success is being around good people:
“We all have those friends and mentors and that’s the key… it’s just that. That’s the key,” says Baute.
The event happened last night at the Bradley Centre.
