United Way co-chair Steve Pratt says the Red Scarf Campaign gets underway at 10:30 this morning.

“Some ladies from St Andrew’s United Church have been kind enough to knit some red scarves,” Pratt says, “to bring some awareness to one of our funded agencies, AIDS Support  Chatham-Kent, for AIDS Awareness Week.”

The handmade scarves can be purchased for $10 each at the Downtown Chatham Centre today until 9 this evening.

Free food from Subway will be given out to anyone who makes a donation.
