A Chatham man is facing an impaired driving charge after police received a traffic complaint.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers were notified about a possible impaired driver and located a suspect vehicle on Taylor Avenue in Chatham at around 10 p.m. on Sunday.
After pulling the vehicle over, police had the driver provide a breath sample, which registered a fail. The driver was arrested and taken to police headquarters for further testing.
As a result, a 53-year-old Chatham man is now charged with driving with a blood alcohol level over the legal limit. He was later released from custody with a July court date.
