A rollover crash has led to impaired driving charges for a London woman.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said a vehicle was travelling on Longwoods Road in Chatham Township when it left the roadway shortly after midnight on Tuesday. The vehicle rolled several times before coming to a stop in a ravine.
The driver and only occupant of the vehicle was not seriously injured in the crash.
Officers at the scene suspected that the driver had been drinking and she was taken to the Ontario Provincial Police station for further breath tests.
As a result, a 23-year-old London woman has been charged with impaired driving and having a blood alcohol concentration level over the legal limit. She has been released from custody with a future court date.
