Charges have been laid after rocks were thrown through the window of a local business.
Chatham-Kent Police were called to King Street West in Chatham just after 9:30 Sunday night.
Witnesses told officers a man was also seen kicking over trash cans and mailboxes, and authorities claim the man removed his shirt, held it against a building, and set it on fire.
The accused was found on the Third Street Bridge and was taken into custody.
The 31-year-old is now facing charges of mischief and arson. He was held at police headquarters for a bail hearing.
