Over 100 people were making memories in Chatham this weekend. 
The sun was shining for the annual IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer’s, as participants strolled around the Downtown Chatham Centre and Tecumseh Park, raising $35,000.
Now in its 24th year, the event supports programs and services for dementia patients and their families in Chatham-Kent, including day programs in Chatham and Wallaceburg, counselling, and education.
Joyce Vidler was recognized as the top individual fundraiser, and the Tremblay family took home team honours.
Last year’s event brought in close to $20,000.
