More than 100 people turned out to a fashion show in Chatham, raising money for a new animal shelter. 
The event, with clothing provided by Get It On and Gentry Manor and hosted by the Ten-Seven Café and Lounge, brought in $5000 for the cause.
The Friends of the New Animal Shelter committee say they are closing in on the campaign’s $1.5 million goal, with tentative plans for construction to get underway in the fall.
The new building will be located right next to the current shelter on Park Avenue East.
