For the sixth year in a row, a local community group is calling on area residents to help those in need.
“The Gift CK” will take place Saturday, November 22, with volunteers canvassing neighbourhoods across the municipality, collecting donations of non-perishable food items, hygiene products, new toys, or other essential items.
The food and toy drive began as a way to support those in need during the COVID-19 pandemic, with residents and businesses invited to leave donations on their doorstep for volunteers to collect.
All donations are provided to local families in need.
