Another Blast of Wintery Weather Aiming for CK

Despite the milder temperatures so far this week, winter isn’t done with Chatham-Kent quite yet

Environment Canada has issued a winter weather travel advisory with icy and slippery conditions beginning near midnight as temperatures plunge below the freezing mark.

Officials say travel may be hazardous due to sudden changes in the weather and surfaces, such as highways, roads, walkways, and parking lots may become slippery. Winds gusting to 70 km/hr at times could cause blowing snow and reduced visibility.

Residents are warned to prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions.
