High winds are expected to batter the Lake Erie shoreline again this week.
Environment Canada has issued gale warning for Western Lake Erie with high winds, including gusts up to 75 km/hr expected to whip across the region through tomorrow morning.
The wind is expected to remain out of the west, which will lessen the impact on the shoreline, but the Lower Thames Valley Conservation Authority says if it shifts more to the south, it could cause damage.
Officials say vulnerable areas could see localized flooding with to waves crashing against shoreline protection works, spraying water up onto the land.
