Another Spike in CK COVID Cases

The latest update from Chatham-Kent Public Health shows 20 new infections in the last 24 hours.

The number of active cases has risen to 99 on Thursday with five additional recoveries.

There are now five active workplace outbreaks and two institutional outbreaks, including Riverview Gardens long term care facility and Copper Terrace nursing home.

Chatham-Kent has now seen 706 total cases since the pandemic began in march, 604 recoveries, and three deaths.

There are no longer any Chatham-Kent residents being treated for the virus at CKHA.

The next update from Public Health will be released on Monday, January 4th.
