A Wallaceburg woman is facing charges following a theft from the Walmart in Chatham, the second in as many days.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said shortly before noon on Tuesday, a woman filled a shopping cart with merchandise and left the St. Clair Street business without paying.
After obtaining a description of the woman and her vehicle, officers were able to identify a suspect.
The accused was located on Wallace Street in Wallaceburg at around 1:34 p.m. and was arrested.
The 24-year-old from Wallaceburg is now charged with theft and possession of stolen property.
A similar incident took place on Monday when two women stole several items from the same Walmart. A 34-year-old Chatham woman and a 37-year-old Chatham-Kent woman were both arrested and charged in connection to the offence.
