When it comes to a new twin-pad arena in Chatham, one councillor thinks it’s all about location. 
South Kent Councillor Karen Herman says that’s something the next council will have to consider.
“When Memorial Arena is removed, and Erickson Arena possibly is removed, I think ti’s very important to those south-side residents that they have continued use of that facility,” Herman says. “When it comes to the Navistar location, i’m not sure that’s the best location.”
Herman, who won’t be running for re-election, says accessibility is something she hopes the next term of council will consider as well.
