Allegedly texting her partner threatening messages has resulted in charges for a Chatham-Kent woman.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers were called to an address on Balmoral Road in Chatham shortly before 9:24 a.m. on Wednesday for a disturbance.
Police learned that a woman had texted the victim several times saying she was going to cause him harm. When officers located the woman later in the day, she told officers she had repeated her comments.
As a result, the 40-year-old accused has been charged with two counts of uttering threats. She was taken to police headquarters and held for a bail hearing.
