A local teen has been charged after an argument turned violent at a Chatham school.
Chatham-Kent Police say two boys had been arguing in the parking lot of their school on November 8 when one of them attempted to walk away. However, the accused allegedly followed and physically assaulted the victim.
Officers were then called to a Queens Line address on November 13 to investigate.
As a result, police arrested a 17-year-old youth from Chatham on Monday. He has been charged with one count of assault and was released with conditions and a December court date.
