
An arrest has been made after a bomb threat was made in Wallaceburg.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said the threat was reported shortly before 9:30 a.m. on Monday at the municipal building on Dufferin Avenue.
Officers responded to the scene and secured the property out of an abundance of caution. Following a thorough search, police determined that there was no explosive at the site and no risk to public safety.
Following an investigation, police arrested a 50-year-old Chatham-Kent man in connection with the threat. Authorities have not released what charges the man is facing.
