Arrest Made in Bothwell Theft

An arrest has been made in connection to a shoplifting incident in Bothwell a year and a half ago.

Back in September, 2017, Chatham-Kent Police say a woman took a number of items from a store without paying.

The 45-year-old from Kerwood was identified on surveillance video, but because she lived outside of Chatham-Kent, local authorities weren’t able to track her down.

Yesterday, the accused was spotted by Sarnia Police and arrested.

She has since been delivered to Chatham-Kent Police and was held for a bail hearing.
