A Ridgetown man has been arrested in connection to a break and enter in Dresden.

Police were called to an Esterville Road home just after 1:30 Tuesday afternoon with a report the suspect was still on the property.

Officers conducted a search and found the accused hiding. Authorities say the suspect gave police a false name, but the homeowner knew the man.

A search of the accused turned up the homeowner’s house and car keys.

The 37-year-old has now been charged with obstructing a peace offer and break and enter. He was released from custody with conditions and a date in court later this month.
