A London man has been arrested in connection to a gas theft in Chatham.
The incident took place back on February 15 and although a suspect was identified, the man could not be found and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
This past Tuesday night, Chatham-Kent Police received a call from authorities in Strathroy-Caradoc saying they had the accused in custody.
The 52-year-old man is charged with theft. He’s been released from custody and will have to appear in court next month.
