An arrest has been made after an incident at a Chatham hardware store.
Friday afternoon, a man walked into Home Hardware on Keil Drive and stole $120 worth of merchandise. The accused was stopped by the store manager and staff, who Chatham-Kent Police say were attacked by the suspect.
The 30-year-old was arrested and charged with assault, assault with a weapon, theft, and possession of stolen property under $5000.
