At home COVID-19 testing could be soon coming to Chatham-Kent for those who can’t get out for testing purposes.
Wallaceburg could be the first to see the tests.
CKHA President and CEO Lori Marshall says Wallaceburg is a high priority for this testing.
“Specifically in Wallaceburg we’ll look at something in partnership between our Assessment Centre and potentially the paramedics,” Marshall told local media during a teleconference on Monday. “And then in other areas, we’ll need to discuss with them how we might be able to create something viable.”
The logistics are being finalized with more details coming soon.
Expanded testing will also be available for health care and front line workers including those working in hospitals, long-term care facilities and first responders.
