Officials with the Chatham-Kent ATV Club are over the moon at the response to their annual Feed the Hunger food drive.

Co-chair Vince Masse says this year’s campaign exceeded all expectations.

“We were hoping to do the same as last year, we were hoping to cover ten food banks and kitchens all over Chatham-Kent. this year we did that plus two more for a total of 12,” says Masse. “So much monetary donations and food, we did the 12 and gave them much more food than we did last year.”

Masse says it works out to about $25,000 worth of food going to support people in need across Chatham-Kent.

Plans are already in the works for next year’s campaign.
