Some of the main routes through Wallaceburg will be a little busier this week.
Crews will be back on the Base Line Bridge today and tomorrow doing some final operational and mechanical testing.
The span will be closed to vehicles and pedestrians 8am to 4pm both days, although boats on the Sydenham won’t be affected.
The bridge will be fully reopened overnight.
The closed bridge has become a familiar site for Wallaceburg residents, with a $2.2 million dollar rehabilitation project that’s seen crews on site on and off since last October.
