An outbreak of COVID-19 at Blenheim District High School has been declared over.
Public Health says there were only ever three cases associated with the outbreak, which was officially cleared off the books on Friday.
Officials are still keeping tabs on one workplace outbreak, although the location remains private as public health says it is not a business that’s open to the public.
Overall, there were 13 new COVID cases identified over the weekend in Chatham-Kent, and 14 cases resolved, lowering the total active caseload to 39.
Two local residents are being treated for the virus in hospital. Overall, CKHA has seven COVID-positive patients in care.
To date, 147 variants of concern or related mutations have been identified in the municipality.
