Chatham-Kent’s beach bus is getting back on the road.

The seasonal bus typically starts running on the Victoria Day long weekend, but was kept parked by the province’s stay-at-home order.

Starting this Saturday, the route will run every weekend through Labour Day, including Canada Day, which is a Thursday this year.

The beach bus routes travel from Chatham to Mitchell’s Bay and Erieau, with stops in Pain Court, Grande Point, Charing Cross, and Blenheim along the way.

Standard COVID rules for public transit, including mandatory face coverings, remain in place.
