Charges have been laid after a beer can was thrown at a woman during a domestic dispute.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers were called to a Chatham address on Sunday just before 10 a.m. regarding an assault.
Following an investigation, police learned that a man had pushed a woman and thrown a beer can at her, causing a mirror to shatter.
A 49-year-old Chatham man was arrested at the scene and charged with assault, assault with a weapon, and mischief under $5,000. He’ll answer the charges in court next month.
