Over two dozen elected leaders will gather in Chatham-Kent this week to discuss critical matters affecting cities and municipalities across Ontario.
Chatham-Kent will welcome 29 mayors to the municipality for the Ontario Big City Mayors (OBCM) caucus meeting on Friday in Blenheim.
The meeting will serve as an opportunity to voice concerns about ongoing and emerging issues facing Ontario’s cities such as housing and infrastructure, provincial-municipal funding, and the homelessness crisis.
The OBCM delegates collectively represents nearly 70% of Ontario’s population.
