Biting And Threats Result In Charges

A domestic disturbance has led to charges for a Wallaceburg woman.

The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers were called to an address in Wallaceburg on Monday shortly before 9 p.m. to investigate an intimate partner violence incident.

According to police, a woman had bitten her partner on the arm and threatened to stab him.

A 23-year-old Wallaceburg woman was arrested and taken to police headquarters. She is now charged with assault and uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm. The accused was held in custody for a bail hearing.
