A special event is taking place this weekend, honouring the region’s contributions to the oil industry.
Saturday marks the return of Black Gold Fest at the Oil Museum of Canada.
The event celebrating the first commercial oil well in North America includes family-friendly activities and demonstration, entertainment, food and beverages, and a movie night featuring Spider-Man: No Way Home.
Black Gold Fest runs from 11-4, the movie night starts at 9pm.
Everything is free of charge with donations accepted.
