Blenheim Bus Lines To Take Part In Pilot Project.

Some Blenheim area students will get a chance to take part in a pilot project for the ministry of education. Blenheim Bus Lines has been chosen as one of 14 bus lines in Ontario to take part in the MOT’s Electric School Bus Pilot Program.

The aim is to determine the benefits and drawbacks of using an electric bus in our harsh winter weather.

They will also be monitoring the potential to reduce green house gas emissions to improve air quality.

Officials say the electric bus is much quieter with no engine noise and are also completely computerized.
