Assault charges have been laid against a Blenheim man.
Police were called to a disturbance on Flemingo Street just after 8 o’clock Monday morning and say the accused had been arguing with two women.
The man allegedly pushed one woman down some stairs and shoved the other up against a wall, then police claim he threw a door at both women.
No serious injuries have been reported.
The 37-year-old man was arrested a short distance away from the home and has been charged with two counts each of assault and assault with a weapon.
He was released from custody with conditions and a date in court on October 31.
