Some high profile recognition for Bluewater Health.
The Sarnia hospital has been named one of the top hospitals in Canada once again, according to new rankings published by Newsweek and developed by Statista Inc. – a global market research and consumer data company.
The World’s Best Hospitals 2023 list ranked over 2,300 hospitals in 28 countries. The rankings were compiled based on hospital recommendations from peers, patient experience and medical performance indicators.
Bluewater Health has steadily climbed the Canadian rankings from 50th in 2019, to 38th in 2020 and 2021, and 32nd in 2022 and 2023.

Victoria Hospital in London was ranked 38th, and London Health Sciences Centre University Hospital placed 53rd on the list.
The Chatham-Kent Health Alliance did not make the list.
