Blusterly Weather Continues

Strong winds have been wreaking havoc across southwestern Ontario.

Environment Canada has extended its wind warning and blowing snow advisory this morning.

In some areas, trees were toppled by the wind, which gusted as high as 95-100 km/hr at times.

Hydro One has been dealing with what it calls a significant number of outages across the region.

Over 1200 customers in the Thamesville area were without power for several hours last evening.

The wind is expected to start dying off later this afternoon.
