Blustery, Winter Morning in CK

It’s a blustery morning around Chatham-Kent.

While the snow that fell last night wasn’t quite as much as Environment Canada had predicted, it’s still enough to make the roads a little slippery in some spots, and blowing snow is a bit of an issue this morning.

Traffic spotters say the 401 and Highway 40 are mainly wet with some sections of drifting in more open areas, while roads in town range from wet to partly snow covered.

Blowing and drifting snow is expected to continue with a southwest wind gusting to between 60 and 70 kilometres an hour at times.

Take care and drive with caution.
