Body Pulled from the Thames River

Chatham-Kent Police say there’s no cause for public concern after a body was pulled from the Thames River.

Officers along with Chatham-Kent Fire and Emergency personnel responded to the river in Dover Township shortly before 7 Friday evening.

The body was taken to London for a forensic autopsy, but police say foul play is not suspected.

The victim’s identity is not being released out of respect for the family.
