Charges have been laid against a Chatham man after a dispute late last week.
Chatham-Kent Police responded to a Grand Avenue West property shortly after 6 o’clock the morning of Friday, August 14.
Authorities say a security officer found a man trying to break into vehicles in a parking lot and ordered the suspect to leave the premises. However, the man allegedly became verbally aggressive and threatened to bomb the building.
The 43-year-old accused was arrested and charged with uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm. He was taken to police headquarters and held for a bail hearing.
