Canadians will now be able to reunite with their loved ones across the border.
Effective today, Ottawa is lifting cross-border travel restrictions for family members, including romantic partners of more than one year, siblings, grandparents and grandchildren and those seeking entry on compassionate grounds.
Long-term unmarried couples who don’t share an address, they’ll have to get a notarized declaration to come into Canada.
Travelers coming into Canada will still need to quarantine for 14 days upon arrival.
