A pair of Raleigh Township residents are facing charges after a break-in attempt at a Hydro One compound in Chatham.
Officers responded to a complaint about a suspicious person near the Maple Leaf Drive facility early Tuesday morning, and discovered a pair of backpacks, a set of bolt cutters, and a flashlight.
A man was found hiding in the bushes nearby and arrested. Further investigation led police to a female accomplice.
Both are charged with break and enter – the woman has also been slapped with a charge of failing to comply with a court-ordered curfew.
