BrewFest CK Returns For 5th Season

Chatham-Kent’s vibrant craft beer scene is set to return this summer, celebrating a milestone anniversary.

2026 marks the fifth year for BrewFest CK, which was named a finalist for the Ontario Tourism Awards of Excellence for the second consecutive year, placing the event among the province’s most celebrated culinary tourism experiences.

Organizers say what began as a collaborative effort between Chatham-Kent’s four craft breweries has grown into one of the region’s premier summer tourism attractions, welcoming thousands of visitors each year.

Four unique festivals will be hosted by Chatham-Kent’s independent breweries, including SummerFest at Sons of Kent Brewing Company on July 11, Eaufest at Bayside Brewing Company on August 8, FarmFest at Red Barn Brewing Company on September 5, and RiverFest at Glasstown Brewing Company on September 12.

“This fifth anniversary is a celebration of what can happen when local businesses, community organizations, sponsors, volunteers, and breweries work together toward a common goal,” the BrewFest CK organizing committee said in a written statement. “BrewFest CK has always been about collaboration over competition. By working together, we’ve been able to create experiences that not only celebrate great local beer, but also showcase everything that makes Chatham-Kent a great place to visit.”

To commemorate the festival’s fifth anniversary, all four breweries have teamed up to create a special limited-edition collaboration beer, which will be available at all BrewFest events.

A new website and online store has been launched to provide event details, brewery information, and BrewFest CK merchandise at www.brewfestck.com.
