After two nights of budget deliberations last week, the process will continue tonight at the Civic Centre.
As it stands, the proposed tax hike sits at 2.32% after councillors cut a number of municipal staff positions.
During last week’s deliberations, the $32-million police services budget was given the go-ahead, along with spending for a number of infrastructure projects.
Tonight’s debate will include a proposal to start setting aside $250,000 per year for arena replacement.
The meeting gets underway at 6 o clock at the Civic Centre.
Wednesday and Thursday evening have also been set aside for further deliberations, if need be.
