Chatham-Kent residents are being given a chance to weigh in on the municipal budget. 
A series of open houses kick off later today, with meetings running over the next three days.
Tonight’s sessions are being held at the Brunner Centre in Thamesville and Ryder Hall at the Tilbury Arena.
The meetings continue tomorrow at BDHS and the Wallaceburg municipal office, and Thursday at the Active Lifestyle Centre in Chatham.
All the sessions run from 4:30 to 6:30, and include a brief presentation on the draft budget, which was presented to council last week with a proposed tax increase of 1.96%.
