Burnt-Out Truck Found Following Theft

Police are investigating after a stolen vehicle was found set on fire in Chatham.

The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers responded to an address on Baldoon Road shortly before 9 p.m. on Sunday after a burnt-out truck was located.

The vehicle had been stolen from the registered owner who lived nearby in the Baldoon Road area. The owner told police that the truck was last seen earlier in the day, but they were unaware that the vehicle had been stolen.

Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
