A business support group in Chatham-Kent is welcoming new leadership to the helm.
The Community Futures Development Corporation of Chatham-Kent has appointed David Argenti as its executive director, effective September 3.
Argenti has worked in the financial sector over the past 20 years, and has been a branch manager with the Royal Bank of Canada for the last nine. being an investment representative and a small business advisor. He is also serving his second term as a trustee on the St. Clair Catholic District School Board.
Argenti was appointed by the group’s board of directors following a national search. He will take over for Donna Pollock who will be retiring at the end of October, after five years in the role.
The Community Futures Development Corporation of CK provides free business counselling, loans for start-ups and small business expansion, and supports local projects that benefit community economic development.
