One year ago, Chatham-Kent medical marijuana provider AgMedica Bioscience didn’t have its facility completed.
Now, the company is seeing tremendous growth in its business with a staff that has grown from 8 employees to 90, and it’s being recognized around the world for the quality of its product.
“So much of what we do is about growing,” says Bruce MacEachern, AgMedica’s vice president of sales and marketing. “Growing capabilities, the technical skills of our growers, the knowledge they have of plants and genetics and the various strains of cannabis that are out there, and finding the ones we feel will resonate most with patients and clients who are seeking new health options.”
He says there are a number of diseases that are seeing positive results from cannabis. Especially in the areas of pain management, and opioid reduction.
