LIGHT UP CHATHAM-KENT
Light Up Chatham-Kent is bringing several local communities together to celebrate the season. More than 130 local homes and businesses have already signed up to share their holiday decorations through the community-wide online effort. Residents are sharing photos on the Let’s Talk Chatham-Kent website (CLICK HERE), which also includes a map that you can use to drive or walk the listed areas. The campaign grew from the efforts of Blenheim’s Light Up Our Neighbourhood Committee, the 2020 Christmas Lights Tour in Wallaceburg and Dresden Shines.

DRESDEN SHINES
Congratulations to the winners of the Dresden Shines Neighbourhood Cup Challenge – Candy Cane Lane on Davies Street East are the winners of the Golden Gnome!
Don’t forget that local merchants and retailers are open late until 8pm every Thursday night for your holiday shopping needs!
Check out the Illumination Tour on now with light displays throughout Dresden including special displays at The Town Hall and Downtown core, LKCS and DACS, Kinsmen Park and Splash Pad, as well as Library and Jackson Park, Rotary Park, the Czech Hall Gardens and more!
Don’t forget about socially distant and family friendly activities including the Scavenger Hunt and he Library Story Trail.
The Dresden Santa Claus Parade will be stationary on Saturday, December 12th at 6PM. This year’s theme is “Memories of Christmas Past”. Santa Claus will also be doing a mobile route all around Dresden. Everybody will get a chance to see the guy in the big red suit this Saturday!

WALLACEBURG CHRISTMAS LIGHTS TOUR
Wallaceburg’s 2020 Christmas Lights Tour is on now!
The tour runs every night from December 1st to 25th with lights on between 7 and 9PM at more than 100 homes and businesses. Organizers remind residents to be respectful of properties and NOT to block road ways.

TILBURY LIGHTS FESTIVAL
The Tilbury Lions are getting festive with the launch of their Annual Christmas Lights Festival. Visitors can take in the over 35,000 lights, festive displays and fun additions to the Odette Walking Trail within the park. The display is family and pet safe as long as you socially distance from others while walking through the park.
The Committee is again auctioning off the over 300 personalized ornaments with the proceeds going to the local hospice. The display runs nightly from 5:30 until 11pm.

THAMESVILLE’S CROSSROADS CHRISTMAS LIGHTS CONTEST
Thamesville is getting festive with the Crossroads Christmas Lights contest, with local homes and businesses shining bright for the holidays.
Official judging takes place Monday, December 14 from 6 to 9 PM with winners to be announced by December 19th!
