To swing or not to swing – that is the question when it comes to Wallaceburg’s Base Line Bridge.
Chatham-Kent administration is recommending the bridge remain a movable structure.
A tender for contract has been awarded to a group from Hamilton with a price tag “not exceeding” $2,196,194.
The bridge was operated to allow boat traffic through 49 times last year.
The report is expected to go in front of council this Monday night.
