C-K’s Brooklyn Roebuck Performing At Capitol

brookcap

Two-time CMAO Rising Star Nominee, Brooklyn Roebuck will headline the first of a series of Sessions at the Chatham Capitol Theatre. Sessions is a monthly event coinciding with a new downtown Chatham event called Downtown In The City and it will feature local or regional artists in different genres.

The line up for July 15 includes The Mandy Jo Project, an acoustic flavoured ensemble rooted deep in the Orford and Howard townships. Their original music hints toward the country-folk side of an easier way of life. They will open the show starting at 7:45 pm.

Following The Mandy Jo Project at about 8:15 pm, Buck Twenty Band, a trio from Windsor/Essex will take the stage. Buck Twenty Band combine musical and creative storytelling to embody a sound that is fresh and high energy, but always rooted in a country attitude.

Brooklyn Roebuck and her band will headline the evening with her own brand of country. You’ve heard Brooklyn on YTV’s “The Next Star”, CMT’s Chevy Top 20 Countdown & ET Canada, now you can see her live here at the Chatham Capitol Theatre. Joining Brooklyn for this concert is Linsey Beckett, an award winning fiddle player and step-dancer, who has been delighting audiences across North America and Europe with her toe-tapping fiddle styles and energetic step-dancing. You may have seen Linsey on the stage with Bowfire when they played here at the Capitol Theatre a few years back.

Tickets to this amazing night of entertainment are only $10 if you buy in advance, or $15 at the door. If you buy your tickets before noon on Thursday, July 14, you’ll be entered into a draw to win a pair of tickets to see Terri Clark in September or Lee Ann Womack in January.
