Chatham-Kent Police say yesterday morning, the driver picked up a man at a bus shelter on Pine Street in Chatham.
The man asked to be dropped off a short time later, and the man started to assault the driver while demanding money.
The man didn’t get any money, and started to flee on foot. The driver sustained minor injuries, and was treated by EMS.
Police describe the man as, “white, 5’10”, 180 pounds, 40-50 years old with a scruffy beard. He was last seen wearing a dark coloured two piece track suit.”
