Canada Day Celebrations Returning To Chatham’s Tecumseh Park

Canada’s national celebration is coming back to Chatham.

After being sidelined during the pandemic, Summit Shows Canada has announced that it is organizing the return of Canada Day celebrations in Chatham.

“Canada Day is an event that has always resonated with me, the celebration of our freedoms, our country and just getting together with the people in our community while putting aside our differences to share pride in our Nation,” said Chris Glassford, an organizer with Summit Shows Canada, in a news release. “It would be a huge shame to not have a celebration in Chatham this year.”

The event will take place on Saturday, July 2 between 11 a.m. and 11 p.m. at Tecumseh Park.

Several free activities are planned for the Canada Day celebrations, including live bands, beverage gardens, and a magician for kids.
