The group recently presented a cheque for $500 to the YMCA Strong Kids program.
The Canada Day committee says it’s a way to say thanks for being allowed to use meeting space at the Chatham facility over the past year.
Meantime, the group will be holding its next meeting at the Y tomorrow night for anyone who’d like to help put together the 2018 event.
